Catherine Pumphrey is a UK-based oil painter whose representative work focuses on still life, botanical forms, and portraiture. She is drawn to the structure of light — how it refracts through glass, defines form, and brings weight to the seemingly ordinary.

Her subjects often include inherited objects and natural elements and her work has a saturated, brighter than life quality.

She exhibited at Oxfordshire Artweeks in May 2025 and her work has been selected for the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition 2025 at London’s Mall Galleries.
